            Campus canteen launches smaller portions to cut food waste

            Canteens have been launching smaller portions as Chinese diners are being told to order less food as part of a campaign to tackle waste and embrace thrift. Schools and universities are following suit. In a campus canteen in a Shanghai university, dishes with portions half of the previous size are available.
